1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using plagComms ("the Application"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
2. Description of Service
plagComms is a free, open-source Windows desktop application that aggregates live chat, stream events, and stats from Twitch, TikTok LIVE, and YouTube Live into a single interface and OBS overlay. The Application is provided free of charge for personal and streaming use.
3. Third-Party Services
plagComms connects to Twitch, TikTok, and YouTube using your credentials (or, for TikTok, a public LIVE username you provide). Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service:
You are responsible for ensuring your use of plagComms complies with those platforms' terms.
4. Permitted Use
You may use plagComms to:
- View and manage your own live stream chat.
- Display chat as an overlay during streaming.
- Relay chat between channels you are authorized to access.
You may not use plagComms to:
- Access chat channels or accounts you are not authorized to use.
- Harvest, scrape, or store chat data for commercial purposes.
- Violate the terms of service of Twitch, TikTok, YouTube, or Google.
- Automate chat interactions without platform permission.
5. No Warranty
plagComms is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all systems. Use at your own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, plagrizr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Application, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Open Source
plagComms is open source. The source code is available at github.com/plagrizr/plagcomms. Contributions and forks are welcome under the project's license terms.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update.
